In a controlled, Single-center study of 100 patients randomized to either Embosphere Microspheres or Contour PVA Embolization Particles, the authors concluded that no significant differences could be found in: frequency of incompletely infarcted leiomyomas, degree of improvement in symptom score, patient satisfaction, or quality of life.
