Description

The Peripheral Vascular and Oncology team of Mavarai Fenon Group managed to perform the first pulmonary embolism treatment case with the EKOS device. EKOS is the first interventional device for the treatment of pulmonary embolism. This device uses a special liquid injection system prescribed to the peripheral vessels and accelerates the dispersion of the drug by using ultrasound technology.
